"Update was there again this year. The menu changed a bit but the waffles were as great as ever! The food was great! And the service very good. It has a beautiful view of the ocean with shaded outside seating. The Kalfie size is great for a small breakfast. P.S.The chocolate sauce is not just a sugary syrup but actually contains chocolate! All the waffles are sugar-free (without topping) and you can order a gluten-free version."

"I took my girlfriend out for our one year anniversary and was not disappointed. Our waiter, Sakhi, was flawless. He made us feel welcome, helped me setup the table beforehand. The food came out perfectly, and on time. What I especially appreciated was how he gave us space to enjoy our moment, and didn’t come and interrupt us but was by our side in seconds when called upon. Additionally, he changed the background music to a romantic playlist on request. He even brought my girlfriend an especially nice glass of water. Thanks again to Sakhi for his excellent service, I will be back again."

"I can definitely recommend you visit Belgian Waffles, Beer & Burgers while you are in the Hermanus area. It is a great restaurant to grab something to eat at, whether you're looking for lunch, something sweet, or just a drink. My wife is a big fan of their waffles and I always love to try one of their big selection of Belgian beers. If you're with kids, they also have a diverse selection for them as well, ranging from savoury to sweet. One of the things I really like is that their outside seating area is located just across from the Hermanus Amphitheater and Park area, offering panoramic views of the ocean and a nearby playground for children, making it an ideal spot for families. Overall, I have visited Belgian Waffles, Beer & Burgers numerous times in the past, and will continue to do so in the future."
